Below are some examples of work we've done including links to the actual site or CD where available. Note that the Flash player is required for some of these. To view PDF documents, you will need to have the Adobe Acrobat Reader installed as well.
Mexican Marina (2010)
| This is a site that I built for my brother in law in Mexico who runs a marina on Isla Mujeres off the coast of Cancun. I started the website while we were down there visiting and completed it in April. Some of the cool features on this site are the Flash header, weather widget, jQuery-powered guestbook with anti-spam filtering, and the Flash photo gallery. Since the site went live they have already received over 50 guestbook entries with testimonials from satisfied customers. The admin side includes features for the guestbook, links, and changing the page content. (NOTE: I have been forced to remove the link to this development site by the new owners of the marina! I will post screenshots shortly.) |

Testa Catering (2010)
 |
I met this client doing the Casual Limo site. They were pleased enough with the site to have me do this one for them. This site has many more dynamic features like the menu selection checkboxes on the 5 main pages as well as a jQuery-driven guestbook and testimonials page that I built. The admin area also has many more features. The site is also very Flash-heavy with a Splash page featuring fantastic photos of delicious-looking food and Flash slideshows on the major pages of the site. They received their first online email quote request the day the site went live! Since then they have received many quote requests as well as great testimonials and the web site is proving to be a valuable tool for their business. |
ClearView Drug Rehab (2009)
| This is a site that I built for a client who is starting a drug rehabilitation clinic here on the Central Coast. I started with a template that was available online and tweaked it. I did some graphic design for the site and the Flash animation for the home page. |

QI-Solutions Redesign (2008)
 |
I met the IT director for QI Solutions while we were both in physical therapy. He mentioned that his company could use a redesign on their website. The site at the time had been built using MS Publisher. I redesigned their site to look much more clean, professional and modern. I created a dynamic site that uses a simple template system with a simple CMS on the back end so they can add and edit pages as well as change their own content. The site contains a News module, Jobs module and Partners module. The initial redesign went live in October 2008. The next phase of this project will be to update some Flash pieces for the site, add a blog module and search feature. |
Casual Limo Service (2008)
| This is a site that I built for a friend who started his own limousine service (no longer active). I did all the graphic design for the site and the Flash animation for the header. The site also has a simple custom Content Management System (CMS) feature that allows the client to log in and change content on some of the pages as well as add/edit/delete comments and links. I used PhotoShop on all of the graphics to soften the edges and adjust colors and brightness, etc. |

Sammy's Fly-away Balloon Game (2006)
 |
I created this simple game in Flash for my five-year old daughter. It's a variation on the classic Space Invaders game but reversed and stars a wacky little monkey name Sammy. Click on the image to the left to play an online demo of the game. Version 2.0 currently in development will add falling fruit power-ups that follow the federal five-a-day campaign where children are encourage to eat five helpings of fruit or vegetables a day. Sammy will get different power-ups when he/she eats five fruits or vegetables. |
Database Builder Training CD (2005)
 |
I created this multmedia training cd while working for Imagen Multimedia. The Database Builder Multimedia Training CD-ROM was created for CSAP (Center for Substance Abuse Prevention) for use in combination with their web-based Database Builder software. It contains animated tutorials for data entry users of the system as well as the admin and user documentation for the Database Builder software. I created the opening sequence, the animation controls and did most of the graphic design. |
Grace Translations Website (2005)
| This site was built for my wife's translation business and is a purely informational site at this point. I did all the graphic and site design and PHP programming on this site. I designed the company logo and business cards as well. |

Shaver Lake Retreat Website (current)
 |
This site is in the process of being built for my former employer who built a beautiful cabin at Shaver Lake in California. The website will include a calendar of events, guest book, public and private photo galleries, a member login area where members can make reservations, see the live webcam and remotely turn on the heater before they drive up. I did all the graphic and site design and PHP programming (except for the calendar) on this site. NOTE: Most of the site is non-functional, but gives you an idea of the layout and graphic design. |
