Revent is a concatenation of "Revolutions Enterprises", the original name of Revent Software. I like the idea of complex systems like galaxies or the very earth we live in arising out of a single simple idea and going through cycles or revolutions. Most of the complex software systems I have worked on over the years started out as a simple idea in one person's mind. Often when doing graphic design, inspiration comes from a single source whether it be a photograph, something in nature, or a thought. Once the inspiration has taken hold, a world of new ideas and possibilities emerge and the cycle of creativity begins.
